I made a some fun purchases yesterday for my nook. (I just couldn't resist a few "new" items!) I have some crates and boxes that I'm planning to reuse for storage, but I wanted some interesting, little touches. Look at what I found at a cool antique mall near me, all totaling less than $20!

I'm seeing business cards in the little dishes, markers and colored pencils in the tins, clothes pins & fasteners in the jelly jars, a fun little project with that 'E', and I'm not quite sure about the wire-mesh basket yet, but it was free (from my generous mom). The only thing I'm thinking I need at this point is fabric to cover my corkboard and for the curtain door. I suppose I'm looking for something that will work well with red, blue and green now. Do you think I can find some cool (and equally a steal) fabric to go along with my finds?
Happy Wednesday!

Missed yesterday's post, so I just went back to read it... how exciting!! You need a space for you! I can't wait to see what you create!
And... what antique mall did you go to? Those are great finds!
go to forest and inwood antique mall!
I'm digging the jelly jars! And there's something so yummy about milk glass ... I've seen bright tulips in milk glass vases and it just looks so wholesome and springy.
You made out like a bandit. Way to go!
This is tempting me to venture out to the antique mall/junk shop just outside of town ...
I love all of your great containers! I can't wait to see how you put it all together. On my post today I share some of my vintage things that I reuse.
Can't believe the bargains you got---that big red E and the milk glass are especially cool!
You scored! I love the loot! And it all looks so nice and tidy together. What great prices! I don't ever find things that low around here... must branch out.
Antique malls are the best, aren't they? I love the milk glass, especially!
