I'm enjoying the book - John is reading it with me and is going to do the exercises too, which I think will be so good for him creatively (I'm hoping he'll start drawing again).

My biggest worry is the Artist Dates... figuring out what to do and when, when when to do them. It's so hard to carve out time for ourselves when we've got kids, isn't it?

Hi E, you will have to let me know more about the book. I will be curious to know more about it. I am about as unartistic as it comes so I will learn through you. :-)

I know exactly what you mean and am very much the same way and have been slowly overcoming it. I actually went to church for Easter and the message was a similar one and I have felt better and more confident about this ever since!

Thanks so very much for the introduction and I'm thrilled to have found you now! Loving the blog and your quote couldn't be more relevant to my current state! Moving to a foreign country, I often find myself remembering to take baby steps and take in stride. I have to definitely push through my doubts!
