It's finally seeming more like fall around here and I'm really feeling the change of the season. I'm ready for it, as I've been in some sort of rut/funk/not-so-productive stage for a few weeks now. I've not been able to pull out of it, but this changing season has me thinking it's time to take control over the situation. Just do it, if you will. So I'm making some goals/resolutions to carry me through:
1. Drink more water.
2. Exercise.
3. Tackle home in small, regular steps.
4. Make time for being creative.
5. Practice patience.
That's enough for now. They are all so simple, but I think they'll make the world of difference. Feel free to hold me accountable! Care to make any Fall Resolutions along with me?

Fall always gets me in the mood to nest and add special touches to my home. This year, I'm going to try to always have at least one fresh flower in a vase at all times. :)
well...more water is a must for me...less wine.
more excercise for sure.
I love your list...keep it up!
great list! I am practicing patience too.
:)amy
those are perfect!! exactly the things i need to be reminding myself, thank you!
Yes I love number 1 and 4... I'm wary on 5 because boy do I need it, but you know what they say: when you pray for patience God will give you something to be patient for. (eeks!)
I need to add "no freaking out" to my list. I've been a ball of nerves lately!
On a lighter and more pleasant note... LOVE that pillow. Off to check out the etsy store!
it's so good to set goals....and what is it about fall that makes us want to change with the season!? fall is my favorite time of year..... I feel so refreshed and energized during this season.....
....love the felt acorns and the little necklace....xo
Tackle home in small, regular steps and oh boy, do I ever need to tackle patience in small, regular steps as well. You are always so enlightening Erin. I wish you luck on your resolutions. Keep your fingers crossed for me as well. :0)
This is a great list. With the weather getting cooler here, more walks for me outdoors. We all get into a funk at times, sometimes it is our body giving us a break. Enjoy my friend. xoxo
I love those little felted acorns :) All the things on your list are things I need to do as well. I wonder why some of the simplest things seem so hard sometimes?
This is a great list... I think mine would be exactly the same.
I love #4 Make time for being creative!
*The acorn necklace is perfect!
I may put Buy Acorn Necklace from SteamTrunkStudio on my resolution list for Fall! ;)
i'd really like to get some things cleaned out (clutter!) of the house. it seems like such a big job that i'm hesitant to even start:(
Loving the autumn photos and the resolutions. I need to have a few of those too. xoxo
I also love fall, I have made a commitment to drink more water and exercise more often. I like when fall rolls around, decorating the house in fall decor is my favorite.
Oh I love this list! Must do the same on my blog now. Good idea! :)
Um, does it count if I just copy yours? These are all so great...and seem so reasonable. Thanks for the inspiration. I really need to drink more water and exercise. Maybe a cute water bottle would motivate me more?
i would love to make resolutions but i tend to NOT stick to them...
the drink more water though is very sensible...xxx
I need some too...clean the house daily (blah), exercise (blah) and play outside with the kids (yea!)
Good ideas, Erin!
how 'bout
"try to avoid the temptation to open that necklace link & then purchase"
isn't that profound?
This is a great list! There is definitely something about fall - it always feels more like New Years' to me than New Years' Day does!
Drink water & exercise are definites on my list, as well as... watch my tone of voice, sadly. I hate it when I hear my grumpy tone coming out of my children's mouths towards each other.
I totally need to get back on a regular work out schedule. I'm with you!
Drink more water, eat less crap.
Write stuff down (I'm usually good at this but not lately)
Get focused.
Keep my eye on the prize.
Thanks for the inspiration. Let's hope I can stick to these!
I love your list, and it would fit me very well too. But since you asked I made up my own:
1 - de-clutter
2 - make a daily to-do-list
3 - walk outside every day
4 - play more
5 - worry less :)
I've enjoyed my stay at your wonderful blog - again :)
