Definition of Class

We traveled this past weekend to attend the funeral of a dear great aunt on my husband's side. Getting to know her is one of the reasons I feel blessed to be a part of my husband's family, as she was such a neat lady. She was 98 years old and filled her days inspiring others and passing on her wisdom. The following article was read at her funeral. She had saved it in a scrapbook after receiving it from a niece, because it had reminded the niece so much of her.

Wow. What a way to live your life. I'm inspired.

She's still at it.

That's a good one. I can see why she kept it to refer to.

So sorry to hear about the loss of such a wonderful woman. And this is so well-said. I especially agree with how class doesn't try to build itself up by tearing others down. So true. I may just need to print this out and hang it in our home somewhere.

Another perfect sentiment, or more like a series of perfect sentiments. So very sorry for your loss. It sounds like you were very much blessed to have known this lovely woman. And it is wonderful that she continues to live on in the memories of those who loved her. Thanks for sharing this, Erin.
