So it's been a not-so-easy week for me, but it's been sweet too. The two-year-old of the house has been on a nap strike, and the momma of the house is a feeling a bit beaten down. But you know what? It's okay. That's what two-year-olds are supposed to do. I've just got to figure out what I'm supposed to do in response to help grow him into the best human he can be. Wishing you much rest this weekend!

Very well said and what a great attitude to have. Thanks for sharing!
All of us mamas out here can absolutely relate. You've got the right attitude, though, so you'll be fine. Hope you get some peace this weekend!
erin . although i do not comment often . your quotes like this one mean so much . take care
I feel your pain. Motherhood is the best and hardest job I've ever taken on. This quote came at such a perfect time for me, so thank you.
It also helps that the two year old is so cute and funny. Good luck with naps today. I will be waiting for an update. Love the quote.
Oh me too, this baby is getting in some serious teeth and our usually peaceful, sleep filled nights have been the opposite. We're so tired that we start falling asleep at 8:30. However, when I look into my little baby boy's eyes and realize he needs comfort, I forget how tired I am. Motherhood is a strange and beautiful thing.
ugh
that beat down feeling is a toughy isn't it....
praying all goes well this weekend
super quote!!
i've got a two year old who thinks he's outgrowing naps too. (and a 6 and 10 yr old) everybody with older kids always tells us to cherish these moments, because it's over with so fast. It's a constant battle to stay thankful and present! but when i do, oh boy - there's nothing sweeter. we can't even imagine quiet and clean houses. someday we will be wistful....but hopefully not regretful.
Great attitude! Hang in there, this is just a season, right?
I had a similar week! Thanks for the positive spin and encouraging quote.
i love the quote. hang in there.
I've been there mama. Hang in there!
I think you know exactly what you're doing. He's a lucky little guy. Hope you had a restorative weekend!
hugs-nelya
