Daydreams v. Goals

I'm working on developing a rhythm for myself and our family during these summer months. All the while my head is full of ideas. I just need to sit down and take the time to realize some of them. I came across this quote recently and it cemented the deal:

Gotta make a date with me, myself and I to dome some action planning!

Goals

As if I needed more pressure to get these resolutions that are swirling around in my head down on paper: Dave Ramsey passed along this little nugget to me (okay, and to the rest of his listening audience).

I'll be putting pen to paper and making it official this weekend. (Am I the only one still mulling it over?) Makes sense: It'll be like my own personal map to ensure I get to my desired destination. Thanks Dave!

I was reading The Five Languages of Love by Gary Chapman the other night and came across this sentence that resonated with me, "When an action doesn't come naturally to you, it is a greater expression of love." It reminded me of this Shakespeare quote about giving and I wanted to look it up. I think it's worth sharing. Happy Wednesday!

Sometimes things just resonate. I was blessed with this experience over the weekend... My sweet sister passed this thought along to me and I just keep thinking about it. It's such a simple statement, but it could not make more sense to me. How much better/easier/softer would this life be if everyone kept this thought close at heart? I hope your day is met with people who feel just this way!
